- Start your Silk Road journey with a panoramic tour of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan’s largest city.
- Walk among 6th to 10th-century “balbal” stone statues.
- Witness a yurt-making demonstration.

- Attend a falconry demonstration among the Tian Shan mountains, watch silk weavers at work in a classic bazaar and other masters at their trades.

Moderate amount of walking required. Typically, two to three miles a day, often uphill, on uneven terrain and/or with multiple stairs. Requires the ability to board a ship and motor coach without assistance.
