Pop health how-tos

In 2021, the initiative partnered with Piranha Partners, a division of Cascade Public Media, to develop and air 30-second ā€œPop Health Momentā€ spots. These spots realized nearly three million household views in markets covering much of the West Coast of the United States.

Each “Pop Health Moment” is animated and takes a problem-solution focus to support individuals in formulating responses to pressing population health challenges.

These spots drew from faculty expertise in the UW’s College of Arts & Sciences, College of Education, College of the Environment, Information School, School of Medicine and School of Public Health.
